The product is called AstroLawn® and it is stirring interest around the country. It is the first turf product this highly experienced sports surface company has ever designed specifically for residential use.

"It's the softest fiber that we've ever made. It's a totally soft, non-abrasive surface. So you can run and slide and dive on it, just like on natural grass," Belles continued.

AstroLawn® is made from polyethylene, one of the softest, yet toughest fibers on the planet. And it is ultraviolet ray resistant, so it will keep its color for a long, long time. It's burn resistant, pet friendly and should last for years. "Our grass is always going to be greener," Belles commented.

AstroLawn® typically runs from $3 to $7 a square foot depending upon whether you have it professionally installed or install it yourself, and it is designed to last 10 to 15 years.
